It has been a while since I was last on this blog. Some wonderful things have happened. Had a B’day last month and got some nice gifts from my good knitting friends. I will share one of the gifts with you all. It is a ceramic sheep which has become the shop mascot. Also got a gift certificate for gardening supplies.

Couple of weeks ago, I got all geared up to garden and while I was cleaning the planter in fron to the house, I interrupted a quail nest so needless to say I did zero gardening.

This week (on wednesday) several of the shops where I am did a wine stroll–it was called Vino & Vittles on Vassar Street. I turned out great; didn’t know wine could go so fast. I am sure there were several bottles between us. It was a good way to mingle with the public and the other shops.
Our own Knit n’ Rip Tahoe Lunch Cruise is coming up soon and that should be lots of fun. This Saturday a group of Raverly Knitters and crocheters are meeting in public for some fun and awareness.
You know how we all have stash of yarn in our spare bedroom, well I was tackling that room trying to organize it; and oh boy, what a mess. I found things that I totally forgot about. The room looks like a tornado hit, well I have my work cut out for me.
On Saturday, June 14th was the World Wide Knit in Public and by golly I was at Meadowood Mall at 10 am knitting with some of our local knitters and crocheters, we even had our special twins there. I stayed there till 12:30 since I had to open shop. It was lots of fun.
